Starting the merch haul thread for ProgPower USA XVI...

So far, I bought or acquired:

- The Need DVD (Orvam, a Song for Atlanta) from their 2014 performance
- Mid-week Mayhem VIP T-shirt
- Evergrey Acoustic Set T-shirt

I'll add to this thread as I purchase or acquire more stuff!

So far I have the same merch haul minus the VIP shirt but adding the Evergrey hoodie. I have a list of 42 cd's, all of which should be easily available in the vendor room, but I plan to keep it under 40 if at all possible. CDINZANE being absent will save me some cash. His Saturday sale usually added 10 -20 cd's to my haul

Did find Next to None and Ghost Shipt Octavius, which is nice.

I love the fact that I can find all sorts of hard-to-find stuff. But most of my list is just not there this year...

The vendor room was kinda disappointing this year with so many vendors missing and other vendors running out of merch.

My usual take of 60-70 cd's is in jeopardy coming in to Saturday, with 38 cd's in the nest right now and maybe 5 or 6 still to be bought.

I only have 3 t-shirts this year...Angra Secret Garden & Evergrey acoustic with the ProgPower shirt.

Here's hoping that Unleash the Archers have some merch with them, and maybe a few cd's too.

That's about the best I can do right now. I'll post a cd merch list later, after I get home and figure out what I bought lol

Fest shirt, two fest lanyards (for the kids), a free ReVamp CD with those; Falconer last performance shirt, Serious Black girlie, Riverside girlie, limited edition Serious Black CD signed by Urban, an Urban Breed frisbee for the kids. I wanted an Unleash the Archers shirt, but the merch guys were counting and putting away the Anathema stuff and asked us to come back later. After Angra all Unleash the Archers merch was gone. Oh, well... There are always online orders.

The difference being; Lance or the dude from Impulse or Matt deserves our money; cool dudes who can talk music with you all day long.

Zane came across as a business man who just wanted your money. He could talk a little about certain cd's or bands, but he just did not come across as a likeable guy. His wife/ female coworker was very nice, so I dealt with her for the most part.

As to people missing his table. After the shock of seeing the empty space where Zane always was, for the most part I didn't really miss his merch. I had no problem spending my money with the other guys.

Yeah, but the $8 sale was the bomb! I always buy from Lance anyway online.

The Impulse guys had tons of shit for me. Especially love the box sets. Dropped over $300.00 on them and the guys were great to bullshit with.

It was there. Only one vendor as far as I could tell.

By Saturday, that one vendor (towards the left and in the back, forget the name of the vendor) was nearly sold out of everything, including the new Amorphis.

I thought it would be big balls to carry all of the merch home on the plane today, but we planned ahead and I brought a nice leather bag that actually holds all of the cd's plus 2 Julio Teheran bobbleheads from Thursdays Atlanta Braves game. That is now my carry-on and everything else is packed away nicely in the checked luggage EXCEPT my iPods. Thank God CDInzane wasn't there! My take would have been 75-80 cd's again!
