My wife & I attended for the 1st time this fall, & had a great time. I'm an old NWOBHM refugee from the 80's & really hadn't gotten into anything newer than the early 90's til a co-worker turned me on to Nightwish a couple of years back....since then it's been a non-stop roller coaster-ride of seemingly never ending wonderful metal acts to discover. my point? Just wanted to thank you for posting this:worship:....about half of the bands either weren't very or weren't at all familiar to us. It was a great mix, & this'll allow us to check out the acts we weren't familiar with. Although i feel like i should own stock in Nuclear Blast, Century Media, & Napalm already, there is still soooooo much to discover :loco:...........

This. Thank you - your feedback made the effort worthwhile!

Been there! The house music between sets at my first PP (which was III) cost me a LOT of money. :)

Eventually it got to the point where I was usually familiar with a lot of the music played over the PA - and I actually sometimes miss sitting in the theater between sets waiting with anticipation for the next song to start.
