I've been listening to Symphony X's Underworld album non-stop for the last few days. Nothing groundbreaking (similar to Paradise Lost and Iconoclast) but I think they did it better. The sound is great, Romeo's riffs are just killer...Would of liked a bit more of Pinnella, but I guess that's what happens when you have a guitarist producing the album.

Agree with your assessment. I liked some of the piano work reminiscent of the V era, and also some of the hard rock leanings that sounded like Allen Lande. Overall, a very nice effort.
