Actually I think that Ihsahn is the future of metal. His last few solo albums are certainly Modern Metal® things, except good sounding instead of shit.

Which is to say Nightside and Anthems are still infinitely better, but hey when you want that newfangled 2016 sound for a spell, have fun with Àmr and Arktis.
