I was wondering if ANYONE was...the story doesn't mention a test pilot so I was assuming it was remotely operated.

"...it flew autonomously for 200 seconds before losing acceleration" That sentence led me to conclude the same thing. Amazing aircraft. Wonder where this technology could lead.
