Dark Tranquillity and Century Media are searching for local support bands for the upcoming WHERE DEATH IS MOST ALIVE TOUR part II 2010 in Europe. Main support is coming from Insomnium who won this years Finnish Metal Awards for Best Band and Best Album.

Avatar will replace Insomnium as main support on the last 11 shows. Omnium Gatherum will be special guests on all 6 Finnish shows.

How does it work?
You send an e-mail to cmtour@centurymedia.de to submit your band for one or more shows (see dates below). Please send only your MySpace link, link to one of your YouTube videos and a short description. Please don’t send MP3’s or attach any photos, bios, etc.

Deadline is June 25th, 2010.

Century Media Records and The Agency Group will select the bands that fit best (all kind of metal is welcome) and you will get a confirmation and letter of rules to take part of the poll.
The poll starts July 1st, 2010 and ends August 2nd, 2010.
You tell all your friends and fans to vote for you on www.centurymedia.com/vote to become the local support in the city/cities you applied for.
Each fan who signed in can give one vote per show per day.
August 6th, 2010 the bands with the most votes will be informed to be the local support.
In case the winning band can’t play the show (for whatever reason) the second band will be informed... and so on.

Main rules for the winning bands:

- all band members need to be over 18 years old
- you will be the opening band and your stage time is minimum 20 minutes
- you have to bring your own instruments and backline
- you will not receive any fee
- you will get one case of beer and basic catering at the venue
- you have to do what the tour manager is telling you because he’s the king of the road
