I was hoping the new single would be a little heavier, with a little more kick. Good stuff regardless.

I love Iced Earth. But these tracks, simply put, are boring. Granted Matt's vocals work better on "The Clouding", than did Tim's. Which isn't at all surprising. Matt's vocals are much better suited to slower, more emotional material. However, given how weak Part I was, these sound files don't bode well for Part II.

Matt sounds good, but I think these songs lack passion. It's like Jon isn't into the whole SWTWC thing anymore and is just doing this because people keep bugging him about it.

I do look forward to hearing Matt sing some of The Glorious Burden" stuff live though.

I like it just fine... and call me crazy, but I think the Framing Armageddon Part 1 album is damn good. And I had my reservations going into it. But it's one of my favorite metal albums of 2007.

I'm looking very forward to Part 2 when set kicks everyone's ass!

It's not a bad disc. It's just not on par from what I expect of Iced Earth.
