Well, there's some truth in what he said. What made Dimmu Borgir PEM heaviness is the production that gave a fucking amazing guitar tone. Some black metal bands would be heavy if they spended some money on production too.

Well, speaking of this....I decided to pick up my guitar and figure out what Sleep and Electric Wizard tune to. It appears that Sleep tune to low G. I thought this was low, and then I tried with Electric Wizard and realized that they tune at least an octave lower than standard....so like below low low E.
