Due to boredom and my new found fondness of Aussie films(mainly due the fact it's a hell of alot better then the mainly american cheesy shit we see), I wanna know who's seen what and if they're are any other great ones i'm missing out on.

Bad Boy Bubby This film is so fuckin awesome, It's to grotesquely funny, yet really sad in parts,i love it.

The Mad Max 1 and 2 nuff said

Chopper nuff said

The Roly Poly Man This was on Tv the other night,it rules, pretty damn funny to. haah ahh poor Woozy Bear.

Blackrock I was sorta made to like this by my friends who are actually from the Stockton beach area, they made me watch it and gave me heaps more extra details that i think you may need to really enjoy it.

Romper Stomper This was my favorite movie for so long, I've watched it to much but, still great.

Young Einstein Cmon,it's damn cool.

Razorback It's so bad thats it fails as the horror and is probably the funniest Australian move ever.

The Castle who doesn't love it?

Bloodlust Best aussie softporn/gore explotation vampire movie ever, they'll never ever make a better one then this.

thats all i got off the top of my head for now.
that took a good half hour.hurruh.

Everyone get out a moive called Body Melt....its an aussie horror flick. Quite good, plus it has Lisa McCune's stomach exploding, Harold from Neighbours as an evil swearing doctor and even andrew daddo in it as a cop. Quite funny hehe

Ah, Razorback... I lived a few blocks away from where they filmed that (and most of Mad Max II too!) and a friend of mine lived right next door to the "PetPak Pet Food" company (which was in fact an old abandoned abbatoir)...

The amount of shit we ripped off from that set was unbelievable! :D

Romper Stomper, Chopper, Crocodile Dundee, Gallipoli, Picnic At Hanging Rock, Reckless Kelly, Young Einstein... and it sounds like I have to see Bloodlust! :D

Sydo's a spoilsport! :D

Mad Max 2 and Romper Stomper are the greatest. I was staying in Broken Hill during the time they were filming MM2. We went out west from there a couple of times in a bus past a big compound full of cars... every day there was less cars there! Haha. What a cool movie.

I was an extra in Reckless Kelly I was on holidays in Shoal Bay where they were filming it. The funny thing is the place where they built the house there was a Mental Hospital pretty much next door and they used to have huge problems with the patients wandering onto set and going nuts if anyone tried to get them of set.

I don't know what my problem is with The Castle, but whenever I hear an Aussie flick advertised as 'The best since The Castle..' - I think 'Oh great, here we go again.. '

'The Road To Nhill'. An Aussie movie that was filmed in my home town of Pyramid Hill, in country Victoria. Pretty shitty Aussie film, but had a few laughs in places, and is interesting for me to watch as alot of the settings are my old friends/neighbours houses, and I know alot of the people who were extras in it.

Dirty Deeds looks great!

There are actually quite a few Australian films released each year, but most of them don't see the light of day because they're so awful. I used to be a member of the Australian Film Institute, and I had to sit through them all for three years straight! :)
