Song titles from Watershed

some of the reverse lyrics say "my sweet satan" haha

The first one says;

Out of the courtyard,
Come back tonight.
Hi sweet Satan,
I see(k?) you.

The second one says something like;

They'll lock all your reason why ( not sure at all )

The first set is obviously a reference to Led Zeppelin, Stairway To Heaven. :headbang:

The Lotus Eater(s) were also referenced long before 1945 in Homer's Odyssey, one of the places Odysseus lands is the Land of the Lotus Eaters.

Hessians, in addition to the meanings mentioned already, were mercenary fighters from germany contracted during the revolutionary war in america.

Coil, in addition to the 'spring' meaning, can also refer to 'mortal coil' of existence.

The song titles on Watershed are definitely the weirdest—and possibly the most obscure—titles of any Opeth album. :err:

I know that "Lotus" in Greek Mythology was some sort of herb that made the eater go into some sort of dream-like state.

hahahaha, he is the lotus eater, its like being the lizard king, except better......and not quite as lame(i don't like the doors, think they're kinda stupid)
