WTB: Br00tz Reamps

Very Messugah-ish, how do you get some much twang CJ? It's a bit too processed sounding for my taste but I guess it's the kinda tone some of the djent guys like.

Really nice song man, here is my try :) Let me know what you think! Cheers!

All very sick, though I prefer the first one!
What's your chain?

TWANG ALL comes from the boost/amp settings your using and especially the gain-staging between them (slam the front? or crank the gain on the amp) and other variables...especiallllllllllllly when using a Dual Recto....

The 1960B isn't hurting at ALL in this case helping with that 'djent' quality that the Mesa OS just can't really do when you're looking for the REAL DEAL Mesh/Djent tone, haha....

All EQ and or comp was done in the analog domain, which wasn't a whole lot! =D

What an amazing track!
Would love to hear this when it's finished, regardless of whether you use my re-amps or not.

Mesa MK4>Recto Cab>57>Focusrite ISA220

The super fast attack of the MK4 nails this sound.
I tried an API pre first but it needed the clean sound of the ISA so I went with that instead. A little bit of EQ on the way but nothing post.

All sounding very sick guys! :D
Although I was initially going to go with something more balanced, CJ's tone is really unique-sounding and I think that adds a lot of character to the guitars.
So I'm going with his!

I also finished recording vocals and will post the full mix when I get everything done. Maybe even multitracks if my fellows would enjoy them!

Hey guys!
I think I've arrived at my final[ish] mixdown. But my ears are mucho tired.
Would post this in the RMM section but making two threads for this seems unnecessary.

What is the verdict?
I went with CJ's second tone [blended with a POD Farm tone very lightly] and all that. Vocals recorded with SM7b. Bass is Trilian [hardcore finger], drums are superior and shit.
I miiiight, perhaps, possibly not be in the best monitoring situation for this mix so I need some help! haha

Thanks guys!
