Sweet merciful crap! Someone posted this on the prog metal subreddit. This song straight slapped me across the face. Think of a power trio with some of the quirkiness of Mr. Bungle mixed with an angrier early Pain of Salvation vibe. Or whatever, just give it a listen ;)

Because this is downright awful :rofl: This is to test those people that always say that they could listen to Jorn sing anything. I love Jorn's voice and when he is working with a strong writer (Ark, Beyond Twilight, Ayreon) he makes amazing music. But his solo stuff is often beyond embarrassing.

Found this Italian band on Facebook. While not totally original, I do enjoy the vocals and the call back to that warm fuzzy 90's prog metal sound.

Kinda like their older singer a little better, but this is pretty killer. I can't wait for the album.

Discovered these guys (and gal) today and I was blown away by the couple songs I have heard. They are female fronted, but they are not symphonic. Also they have a modern prog metal feel without being too Djenty or worshipping BTBAM. Check it out and see if you dig it as much as I did.
