    Request Totals

Okay, so I needed something to do while listening to all these new CD's. Even so it was pretty fun to see how they all tallied up. These are listed in ascending order by requests recieved. The top request is listed last, so just for kicks see if you can guess what it is before you look. :) 1...

    Festival Rankings

Here's the way they lined up for me: 1. Therion- 'nuff said. 2. Orhaned Land- "When We Play Norra El Norra, everybody jumps!" :) 3. Angra- Great setlist. Would have taken 2nd place except the mix was so bad. :( 4. Stratovarius- Great execution, but too many soft and new songs at the...

    PPVI Cheers and Jeers

CHEERS: 1. First and foremost Glenn Harveston. Once again an outstanding event. YOU DA MAN!! 2. All the bands this year. Every one of them performed to the best of their ability. Everyone is probably going to have a band or two that just isn't their cup of tea, but you have to give credit...

    TSO Tour Changes

The TSO tour has had some changes, mostly cancelations, due to Katrina. Two Florida shows have been added.

    Black Symphony

For those who might be wondering... The Black Symphony is the progressive metal band that SHOULD have been at the top of the genre. The only problem is they're always in turmoil, for one reason or another. They released 2 CD's, with 2 different singers. The first was an independent S/T album...

    Midnight Sun

I'm considering buying Midnight Sun's "Metal Machine." I've read 2 totally opposite reviews: one praisng, the other scathing. Anyone have any input?

    TSO

The 2005 TSO tour dates have been announced. Unfortunately, as like 2004, there are no Florida dates. For the first time since they started touring there is no Atlanta date either. :ill:

    A Salute.

To the people of London who, after last weeks terror attack have, picked themselves right back up and gone about their normal lives. For any Englanders who may post or lurk here, I offer my condolences and respect. To the rest of us... Stay diligent. It's astonishing what a terrorist can do...

    PPV Slideshow

Well after 6 months the slideshows are online. I guess Glenn can't really be associated with them since he's in the biz, so he couldn't host them. The original versions were full screen quality, and too large for me to host. These are much smaller, but at least they're up... finally. Night 1...

    Hey Glenn...

I was looking through my old projects and rediscovered the PPV slide shows. You ever going to post those? As I recall, a few people were interested in them.

    III vs. VI

To my thinking this year's line-up is great, and I'm pumped for it. However, ProgPower III was pretty much an All-Star festival, and I'll forever kick myself for missing it. How do you guys think the line-ups compare?
