While I certainly realize this is premature with the biggest and best lineup of music ever assembled in the U.S. approaching in 1 month, I figured I would get some ideas floating around. Here is my perfect 10 list:

Friday:
Exhibition
Secret Sphere
Elegy
Shaman
Nightwish

Saturday:
Defyance
Tunnelvision or Eldritch (Only if they play their old stuff!)
Heavenly
Labyrinth
Stratovarius or Helloween (If they still exist by then!!!)

Perhaps if this was the PowerPower Fest and not PROGPower

I do like Secret Sphere and Labyrinth, however.

Yeah, I guess you're right, I did go a bit heavy on the power side even though I'm a bigger prog metal fan!!! I di forget about Sonata Arctica, but I figure Stratovarius would take care of that.
As for prog bands I would love to see:

Tommorow's Eve
Soul Cages
Stonehenge
Silent Voices- Great New Band!!!
Star One
Ayreon
Magnitude 9

I have to look through my collection to come up with a complete list. I know I'm forgetting many great bands.

but i see it was long enough ago that it's fallen off the standard time period for displayed posts.

my picks, for those that care (i know it's not a perfect list of ten bands balanced between big names and up-and-comers and between power and prog; it's just bands i'm interested in seeing):

Virgin Steele
Star One/Ayreon
Helloween
Therion
Lost Horizon
Voivod (if Glenn thinks they're prog/power-ish enough)
Helstar (would need to be a reunion) or Destiny's End
Spastic Ink or Watchtower
(heh heh) and Manowar...

I guess that's all I can think of for now...

Ryan (drawing a blank)

Here's mine:

Opeth
Nightwish
Heaven's Cry
Rhapsody (Oh come on, they would be fun to watch live)
Pain Of Salvation (I know, but I want to see them every year)
Novembre
Watchtower
Wolverine
Into Eternity

Guy

People, the chances of Nighwish showing up next year are nil...the band's going on hiatus for a year, meaning they're not doing any performances at all. That said, I guess I'd have to go with...
Stratovarius
Ayreon/Star One (yeah, I know it'll never happen)
Rhapsody
Sonata Arctica
Pretty Maids
Virgin Steele
Sinergy
Sex Machineguns (Just to spice things up a bit...despite the fact that only a select few members of the audience will understand the lyrics)

My lineup would be:

Friday:
Children of Bodom
Freak Kitchen
Lefay
Pretty Maids
Running Wild

Saturday:
Alaska Fire (www.alaskafire.de)
Nightwish
Tiamat
Stratovarius
Helloween

As far as I'm concerned, the less Prog in ProgPower, the better it is.

I don't know if some of you realize, but Glenn is not going to book the same bands the following year. I've seen numerous references and requests for the the same bands that are performing this year to perform next year. Anyway, why would you want that. There is so much great stuff out there that we may never have a chance to see. I personally would love to see Superior again, but I understand Glenn's point of view. Although, I don't see the problem with having 1 or 2 bands come back that performed a few festivals ago, but not back to back

Friday:
1-Dark Moor
2-Nocturnal Rites
3-Soilwork
4-Rage
5-Stratovarius

Saturday:
1-Brainstorm
2-Elegy
3-Children of Bodom
4-Grave Digger
5-Helloween

I know that I have to include more Prog Metal Bands, but this lineup would be unbelievable.
SOme prog bands I would like to see:
-Vanden Plas
-Dreamscape (if they still exist)
-Symphony X (again!)
-Eldritch

Other bands that could also be included:
-Nightwish
-SOnata Arctica
-Labyrinth
-Dark Tranquillity
-Eternal Tears of Sorrow
-Virgin STeele
etc...........
