Ken, you've added some very interesting new items recently. I'd certainly like to highlight this one to your cognoscenti.
I happened across a copy in my local secondhand store last week :Smokin: and couldn't let it remain there, as I already had an awareness of its quality.
As reviewed elsewhere: "melodic progressive metal that is somewhere near a less-heavy cross between Opeth and Dream Theater. Leon Brouwer's vocal performance is outstanding; commanding the heavier sections and delivering great beauty in some glorious quiet moments."
I'd point out there is no growling and Brouwer's vocal style is redolent of Bowie in places!
Instrumentally the band is first rate, without ever resorting to extreme technical dexterity.
By the way, Ken, this is their DEBUT album, and not as you have said their SECOND release. Hopefully this will save your completists going slightly crazy in pursuit of that which does not exist!!
