Best metal dvd releases of the past few years?

Dark Tranquility - Where Death is Most Alive
Emperor - Live Inferno
Meshuggah - Alive
Pagan's Mind - Live Equation
Redemption - Frozen in a Moment
Chickenfoot - Get Your Buzz On
Blind Guardian - Imaginations Through the Looking Glass
Gamma Ray - Hell Yeah! The Awesome Foursome
Kamelot - One Cold Winter Night
Edguy - Fucking With Fire
Pain Of Salvation - Ending Themes
Riverside - Reality Dream

Some of my faves I got past 2 years are:

UDO - Mastercutor Live
Tarot - Undead Indeed
Artillery - One Foot In The Grave .......
Rob Rock - Live in Atlanta (Even if I was far away from front of stage)
Deep Purple - History, Hits & Highlights

If you're a Moonspell fan, then their Lusitanian Metal DVD is an absolute must. Aside from the main show, music videos, etc., it has footage from their early years (including from the first Moonspell show), and then footage from shows on every tour cycle from Wolfheart through The Antidote.

I also really liked the recent Primordial DVD All Empires Fall.

I have Therion "Live Gothic" thats a CD/DVD two disc combo thats pretty good. If you're a Deep Purple fan, which I am, the "History, Hits, & Highlights" is great.

I've been wanting to pick up these....
Pagan's Mind - Live Equation
Gamma Ray - Hell Yeah! The Awesome Foursome
Kamelot - One Cold Winter Night
It's good to see they've been recomended here.

Evergrey - A Night to Remember
Gamma Ray - Hell Yeah...
Blind Guardian - Imaginations Through the Looking Glass
Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night
Firewind - Live Premonition
Pagan's Mind - Live Equation
Edguy - Fucking with Fire
Journey - Live in Manilla

People actually liked "Headbanger's Journey"? Different strokes.

You would be the first person I know who didn't like that. No, it isn't a concert dvd but is a really good document on metal in general. "Global Metal" isn't bad either, though not nearly as good as "Headbanger's Journey".

A few of my recent favorites would be:

1. Iron Maiden - Flight 666 The Movie
2. Paul Stanley - One Live Kiss
3. Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night

I have to agree at least with the Tarot, Evergrey, Therion (both Live Gothic and Celebrators) and Kamelot recommendations

I'll add a few I have enjoyed which aren't listed yet:
  • Nevermore: Year of the Voyager (unless you totally hate fast cuts and unnecessary black/white effects, the sound and performance are great)
  • Sentenced: Buried Alive
  • Nightwish: End of an Era
  • Porcupine Tree: Arriving Somewhere.. (not all that metal but definitely some metal parts in too, they also have a new dvd/bluray coming out in May)
  • Within Temptation: Black Symphony (it's just so epic and the production is huge, great quality bluray release too)
  • Opeth: both Lamentations and The Roundhouse Tapes (only if you like Opeth's rather static live show, naturally)

My fave DVDs aquired over the past few years include:

Therion - Live Gothic
Nightwish - End of an Era
Within Temptation - Black Symphony
Deep Purple - Live in Montreax
Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night
Heart - Alive in Seattle
Heaven and Hell - Live at Radio City Music Hall
Jeff Beck - Live at Ronnie Scott's
ZZ Top - Live in Texas
Judas Priest - Live Vengeance '82
Godsmack - Changes

Also, three PAL DVDs that may or may not play on your dvd player:

Mob Rules - Sings of the Times
Mustasch - In the Night
Tarot - Undead Indeed
