Black Friday deals?

Took a look at the Zildjian cymbals, and that list price totally looks like something they pulled out of their ass. At least the European webstores I just visited show a list price of under 1000€, which would make it a pretty far stretch to $2000.

Anyone know if Sweetwater has a habit of doing this, or are cymbals really just twice as expensive in the US?

same with a les paul studio... when you look at thomann.de there´s the same price, but not that list price of 2000 $. what a hot deal...

Sweetwater is probably the most reputable dealer in the US but they may be adding the msrp's of each cymbal to get the pack msrp. The current Les Paul Studios do in fact have an MSRP over $2k (and the €800 price at Thomann is $150 more than $850 sw is advertising). AFIAK European RRP and US MSRP's don't work exactly the same. 25% under MSRP is a default starting point of sale prices for music gear in the US (with notable exceptions like mesa).

The deals are starting to come through alright.

I am waiting on the waves deals. Mainly because I just brought Renaissance maxx a few days ago for $149, so only $15 a plugin as there are 10 in the pack.
I'm hoping it won't be cheaper ha ha but I thought that was a pretty hot price given the plugins included for that price.

I want bass rider to be cheap! ha ha

Just bought Decapitator for $91 / 76€ at Audiodeluxe :)

I am currently trying the demo and instantly fell in love with this plugin! It's awesome on almost everything!!

Though apparently it requires an iLok which I do not have nor desire to get. =/

I'm assuming my demo will expire at some point.

Yeah I am a bit annoyed lol I brought the R maxx bundle 2 days ago for $149 and now Gold is up for $199....
If only I had the patience to wait ha ha.
I have sent an email asking if I can pay the difference since it was only 2 days ago but I don't like my chances.

Some great deals around though.

Any one know where the deals are at this year for Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Finally have some spare cash and wanna take advantage of some people.

Cheers,
Nigel.

I personally make samples and other production tools that I believe are some of the best in the game, and very underrated. At least check out my site even if you don't get anything. Hope you love it.
Oh yeah, 50% off your whole order if you use the code "CBBF50" !!

Yeah this has been on this price for a while now. I was hoping it gets cheaper as I have seen it go down to like $30 before so wishful thinking I guess.

Right. Bought it there in september for 29 bucks. I think it will be that cheap again soon.

It requires an iLok now, but on the bundle page it says iLok optional, and they're updating from V4 to V5 soon so it might be worth sending them an email to double check, but I guess they may be able to be activated without an iLok key on V5. Microshift already doesn't need an iLok key, but you need an iLok account I think.

I picked up VMR and VBC, have been demoing VMR and am really looking forward to trying out VBC. Just waiting for the confirmation email with my download links.

I'm not too happy about the VMR sale. I didn't think it would go on sale, and since I wanted a plugin, I would have gone for the VMR+1 plugin bundle. Now, I took the introductory price, which means I have to pay full price for my 1 plugin, I don't feel rewarded for buying the plug the day of the release. Not a big deal but worth mentioning IMO.

That aside, it is an awesome sale for people who haven't tried slate products yet.
