ANGRA AND CONCEPTION COMPLETE PROGPOWER USA LINE UP
ATLANTA - Brazil's Angra and Norway's Conception will round out the lineup
of this year's ProgPower USA.
Conception will feature the entire original lineup, including Roy Khan
(Kamelot) on vocals and Tore Ostby on guitar (ex-ARK), in their first
performance since 1997. "After having experienced some real blasts at
ProgPower with ARK and Kamelot, we are honored and excited to be back and
perform the first ever US gig with Conception!" said Khan and Ostby.
Angra is returning to ProgPower after making its US debut at the festival
in 2003.
Stratovarius, Therion, Orphaned Land, Pink Cream 69, Manticora, Circus
Maximus, Symphorce, and Stride have already been announced for the show.
ProgPower will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17 at
Earthlink Live in Atlanta.
Tickets will go on sale April 2 at 10 a.m. EST via all Ticketmaster
outlets. Only 900 tickets will be made available to the public. Advance
Gold Badges are already sold out.
One of America's most highly praised festivals, ProgPower USA has sold-out
for three consecutive years over five months in advance. There is
currently a three year wait on the Gold Badge waiting list. Last year
ProgPower USA drew fans from 32 states and 12 counties including Japan and
Australia.
