i saw a few mike pattons for faith no more, but what about MR BUNGLE? he's a fuckin schizo lunatic on those albums. better than anything else he's done (not that ive heard it all, i just like to make sweeping generalizations claiming that mr bungle rules harder than anyone else ever)!
 
I think WD and Akerfeldt are gimmes for the top 2, but good to see both King Diamond and Tori Amos making an appearance on some lists. I know Ozzy has declined steadily over the years but he is the godfather.

Yes he's on the top for influence for sure
But his vocals are sub par compared to some of the other people listed.

I should have put him as an honourable mention
