Korn is a good example. I cant stand these bands who get 7 string guitars and only use the low B(tuned down 50 steps further). It's irritating to no end. Especially when they dont solo or anything, they'd just as well tune down a 6 string and use thicker gauge strings, but whatever.

I read a funny quote a few years ago in some guitar mag, they were asking Dimebag how he felt about Korn and their guitar playing, he said (I'm not quoting him exactly) "The guy from Korn uses a 7 string, he doesn't even know how to play a six string".
