True, but the PE collaboration and Married With Children episode were both during the POT era. Though, yes, I will give you that musically they did abandon some of the wackiness with POT.

Granted, I didn't like when Anthrax collaborated with Public Enemy, but it was kind of cool both of them being from New York.

I didn't have a problem at all with them guesting on Married With Children though. That show was great!

Oh, and for the record, along with NWA, I feel Public Enemy are the most important rap group of all time. So no dis to Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff, etc. Always looked at NWA and PE as "punk rock for inner city youth"

Exactly, they were already heading in a different direction with POT. SOWN was just the next step.

They were heading in that different direction after their studio caught fire and burned down everything. POT was more like ATL for me. I loved it.
