Yeah, I listened again and I don't see the comparison.

That being said, I like the stripped down sound of this song. It feels more nuanced.

I honestly don't see how you don't get a muse vibe from that song...

Muse is fine for that style of music and I do play them when I'm with the family but that isn't what I want out of Leprous...

Their last disc was a let down and this new song travels down that same path...

I hope you all get a great listening experience from this disc!!

I can definitely hear some Muse influence in the song but I don't think its anywhere near as strong as your suggesting though. Its certainly nothing like Dream Theater's blatant Muse copying on certain Octavarium tracks

I absolutely love the part where it is just keyboards and drums playing that riff before the rest of the band comes back.

In a perfect world a song like that would make it on to modern rock radio or even pop radio.

Regarding the Muse comparisons; the guys in the band actually aren't really into Muse, but instead are big Radiohead fans (which is the same influence that Muse draws from) ... so ...

Different strokes, man. I can't stand some bands that I should like (Suspyre is one I tried for a long time but eventually gave up on). There's no accounting for taste, as they say.
