I want to load some of my own drum samples for trigger but I'm not sure what velocity range i should use for my the hits. I would make 5 groups for snares: Crack, Hard, Medium, Soft and extraSoft and 3 for Toms: Hard, Medium, Soft. What would you suggest to use for the ranges for the hits? ex. Crack 115-127, Hard 80-115.


Does anyone know what velocities the slate samples are set at?

the editor has an auto setting that "spreads" the samples even,
i think that's how it should be done.
