As for hair bands I cant pick just 6. I am into so much obscure, and unknown bands of this style its impossible.

Heavens Edge, XYZ, Cold Sweat, Lillian Axe, Skitzotik, Picasso Trigger, Sic Vikki, I mean the list goes on, and on, and that doesnt count killer songs by bands such as Dokken, Tesla, Skid Row, Warrant, etc etc etc etc LOL!!
