Quite a coup for the fest, congrats! Unfortunately I don't like either band. But I'll be there Thursday because I want to see Jon Oliva and I think the line-up for Friday and Saturday is outstanding.

Well, guess I'm glad I'm only coming on Thursday. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I couldn't see going both nights unless you were humongous fans.
I shake my head at Kamelot coming back yet again. I'll be there for Nightwish, tho I don't care much for Annette's singing. I'll give them a chance live.

She's quite likeable live.
That said, they use her voice to the best effect on this new album. I bought it feeling HIGHLY skeptical (because dammit, I miss Tarja and was less-than-impressed with DPP) but NW won me back with this latest release. It's no less than outstanding, and I'm hoping they perform the entire thing for the Atlanta show!

Well, I say that after seeing the clip posted before on Youtube from the Imaginarium tour and still not being impressed by her. I'll admit, I don't own Imaginarium (as well as many other CDs I should own by now) so I can't judge her on that, but this doesn't bring the same excitement for me as when they headlined last time.

No, Kamelot has not made this announcement yet; however, the did say previously they would do so before the summer European festivals.
