So I was going to finally head back to Atlanta next year. My mom has ms and usually her friend flies in when I go to fests, but this time she can't, so unfortunately I have to sell them. I'm not looking to rip anyone off and am just asking for what I paid in total for the Friday/Saturday show...
Grave Digger for a long time has been the top band I've wanted to see that I haven't. While Blind Guardian is a great band, GD is the major draw for me and I CANNOT. FUCKING. WAIT. :kickass::kickass::kickass:

I know Behemoth certainly isn't prog or power, but I know a lot of you like them. This is their first tune in 4 years and I love it. Great atmosphere and very cool video, but as a warning it is quite explicit...
Another one gone, but the dude was suffering for a while. So I must say this is a good thing as he isn't suffering anymore.

Thought I'd start a thread to start more discussion about the fest since it's in a few days. Who do you guys think will be show stealers? I'm not talking so much about the headliners as I think most are expecting Omen and Oz to bring it. I'm talking the lower tier bands, including the music...
I'm very skeptical about this. I personally love this band, well at least the first two albums, but this could suck. Plus, I'm not exactly holding my breath that this will actually happen.

They've honestly been one of the most consistent bands int he last decade, but I'll be honest I don't really like this. Not very memorable and bland in my opinion as much as I hate to say.
Saw this on their twitter, then exanded it to their Facebook. Judging by this, I'm assuming they are no longer a part of Ragnarokkr.
"It is with heavy heart that I must announce that Hour of 13 is on an indefinite hiatus. The 1one remaining show at Martyrdoom Fest 2013 in New York City will...
So, I've never really listened to Darkthrone, but I always figured they were black metal. However, I took a listen to this track of their new disc and to these ears, it mostly sounds like traditional metal. Is this how they typically sound or is this a change in direction?
I honestly don't know how many people on here will be into this, but this looks like a promising band. I love King's X and Eric Gales is one of the most underrated guitarists in all of rock.

I don't remember if I found out about this band here or elsewhere, but for those of you who love female fronted metal, Eihwaz is solid stuff. They have a top notch singer, orchestral elements with excellent guitar work. Enjoy.
This has to be one of the more interesting tour packages. I used to be really into Turisas back when they first made a mark on the Paganfest tour. I didn't hear great things about the last album; however, I'm sure they're still great live. This tour is just an odd combination of bands...
...while I'm only familiar with Septicflesh and Melchesh, this is a great idea...even if it may not make the money back. I know I'll be going just for Melechesh alone and Septicflesh are pretty good too.

Ahem...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that I've gotten that out of the way. I have to say this is an interesting time to boot him, and if the rumors are correct on various sites, it seems it might be due to Rob not memorizing songs, which is odd...
Okay, so I stole this from someone else at another forum and thought a lot of people here might like it. Lorenguard is a euro-style power metal band but from Indiana of all places. Check it out, I like what I hear from just this song so far...
