Turbo(OK I knew people hated that one but I've always dug it) Yeah, me too--I don't get why it was so disliked

I'll have to add:
Extreme-Pornograffiti (Who threw that!!?), I threw that! But it was only a Nerf ball...I liked a few songs on this one.
Mr. Bungle's first album (my college roommate and I would put it on whenever we wanted to clear out our room) And I'm sure it worked well!
anything STYX (yeah even Mr. Roboto) Styx was one of my first rock-n-roll loves (wait, that doesn't sound right!). Anyway, I fondly remember singing along with my headphones on to Mr Roboto.
Andrew WK's first(only?) album is just loud goofy fun Yep. Goofy.
Black Sabbath Headless Cross/TYR (I always think of them together for some reason) It's funny that these are the only two Sabbath albums I actually own.
anything Stryper (I have no justification for this) Me either...but I won't apologize! They've always been underrated.
Def Leppard-Hysteria (I couldn't listen to it for about 10 years but listening to it now is like going back in time) So what if there were 20 hit singles that were overplayed? Just proves it was solid album.
Van Halen-Balance Er...yeah. Next.
Queensrych-Hear in the Now... (no wait, that one does blow) My first raping by Tate...I'll never forgive that bastard.
Crimson Glory-Strange and Beautiful I missed this one back in the day.
King Diamond-House of God Truly underappreciated by the Coven. I always thought this one was the best of the "mediocre years" output by the King.

That's all for now

My comments in red.

We're pretty much on the same page...guess that goes with knowing each other for so long!

Stick to the rock/metal genre please:

Glenn H.

Kreator - "Endorama"
Amorphis - "Far From The Sun"
Judas Priest - "Turbo" (maybe not everyone hates it but a lot)
Force Of Evil - both albums (people hetae them because sounds like MF without KD, and I like them because of tthat!)

I thought of another one.

Redemption - s/t.

Everyone raves about Fullness but imo the debut was far more interesting musically. I thought it was darker and more unique than Fullness which sounds pretty much interchangeable with Fates Warning. Not that there's anything wrong with amazing Fates', I just felt they assimilated the potential for a fairly unique and interesting band before it fully developed.

Now I know I'm the only one who feels this way, hell even the BAND came on UM to tell me they feel different .

also gotta agree with this:

The Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy up the Girl.

Brilliant radio rock band. Few people can sing with more passion than J. Rzeznik. He is also a great guitar player.

While looking through my cds the other night, I came across a few more guilty pleasures.

Ozzy Osbourne - The Ultimate Sin (why people hate this is beyond me)

Britny Fox - s/t, Boys In Heat, and Bite Down Hard :)

Go ahead and flame me now, but those guys rock IMO! :)

I absolutely love that album!

and I forgot...

Evanescence - Origin

Same for this. Can't really say it's a hated album. I could sell my signed copy for $500. Being limited to only 2000 makes it hard to be a widely sold album. Shame Amy turned out to be a major biatch. Her attitude turned me away from the band. I'm anticipating Ben Moody's new work, though.

My addition: The Gathering - Souvenirs.
Everyone seems to love their old stuff but not be into the new stuff. I personally loved this album.

Outside of the forum people make fun of me for bands like Battlelore. Tolkien metal all the way! Next thing you know I'm going to be into filk *shudders*

the gathering..how to measure a planet...i remember when this came out peeps were bashing the heck out of it...I still think its their best disc...

Silent Rage..Dont touch me there....peeps were slamming that also..i guess cause the cover was so bad..but damn..great AOR

Roxx Gang....I forget the title..things youve never done before i think...but it had red rose on it...many couldnt get into the guys voice..but i thought it was awesome

Kiss..Music from the elder...ok so if u dont look at it like it was KISS...great disc..the Frehley sung songs on there were great..and who can forget..."Your not wellllll....mr black...welll......why dont you...go to heeeelllllllllllllllllllll

Motlly Cure...the one with jon corabi on it....why on earth did that not sell...heavy as shit..and corabi can whail....in my opinion..best crue album ever..i saw them live with corabi and was blown away...

Sword..Sweet dreams....ya their first one sounded like old school Wasp..so it did well..the second sweet dreams was much more toned down...and it didnt move at all...but wow..the middle of that disc with "the threat" and the songs around it were amazing...wish that guy was still singing...

Artch...another return to churchill got some pub..even tho it was kinda a metallica rip off..but the second one....which i cant remember the name.I think it was For the Sake of Mankind...but had titanic on it...that was awesome also...that guy can sing...i remember when he showed up unexpectedly singing on the guardenian disc...first time i heard "small electric space" i just fell to the floor...who the hell is that singer..then i made the connection..wow...the ARTCH guy..sweet.. He really needs to get picked up by someone....i kinda thought he could have fit Tad Morose..but Joe isnt all bad either...

Metal Church..Hanging in the blance...cover stunk...but great great disc...outside of masterpeace...the church never disappoints...

Nobody listed Lizzy Borden Master of Disguise...it was a small departure from the LB sound, yet it was refreshing and new.I remember that this was the end of Lizzy Borden V1...bigger label, bigger expectations...the album was a dud sales wise. I personally love it,but then again I love all of their discs and the DVD Murderess Metal...awesome,even if cheezy

Heres hoping LB V3 is better than two was...that fizzled quick

Do I have to admit to loving this album?

Strangely, I have to say Epica - Consign to Oblivion. Apparently, not many people like it (at least compared to The Phantom Agony). I love it. Cool as shit album.

I dunno if these count. I don't know that people hate these albums, but I haven't heard anybody proclamint that they love them. They are certainly not albums that are talked about in metal circles though:
ELO - Out of the Blue
Apirl Wine - Nature of the Beast.
