Any ProgPower Attendees going to NF?

Just wondering,

How many of you progmetal heads are also planning on making the trek to NEARFest 2K2?

As one who has been to all previous ones, this years lineup is (IMO) the best so far.

Granted, Rob and Chad have decided that for this audience, a ProgMetal band is not desirable but other than that the overall selection of bands is pretty much to my liking.

It's not the same for ProgPower. While I may not have "liked" every band the first two years, I have enjoyed the crowd and the overall vibe very, very much.

Anyway, who's going to NF, maybe we can wear our ProgPower T's to show off???

haven't run into this guy on a Forum or mailing list in years. Not surprising since he got himself banned from just about every prog mailing list I subscribe too.

Have you mellowed over the last coupla years Capt'n? Or are you still the same old CaptainMDA?

I would go to Nearfest just for Enchant and because it's much closer than Progpower (I would sell my soul for a change of venue to the NYC area), but alas it's sold out...

I'll be there....gotta be there...gonna do a review of Enchant's show..and if it all works out right...Interviweing them as well for Digital Echo. Besides I can't wait to give my friend Rob a hug..and hopefully run into other friends of mine!
