Since I am much more into the power metal side of things, and even though I will continue to keep my gold badges, I would LOVE the opportunity to see a festival that focused entirely on those type of bands!! I don't care where it is held, I will be there....

I'm hearing rumors of a power metal festival in Las Vegas next fall, on or near the weekend of Halloween. Should be cool if it happens, not sure on who's putting it together, but I'll 'keep my ears peeled'.... I love the ProgPower show, it's so well run, so I'm still going to that whenever possible. It would be nice though to have a good show in my hometown. Las Vegas is great in October, temps now running about 50 degrees at night, 70 in the daytime, so people would be comfortable. We just had a horrible death fest here ala Milwaukee, late August, about 110 outside, and 120 inside. Utter failure, hope the next one has cooler bands and cooler weather.
