Let's see those guitars!

like FOREVER ago, I think when I was 8 or 9, I played one of those. What little I remember was it was easier to sit down and play than an Explorer. Along the way Washburn has done some kinda odd, but very cool things (like those 29 or 36 fret guitars, or that Steve Stevens model with the tilted pickups) and I really don't think they get enough credit sometimes.

and while we're on the subject of showing guitars...

nice man, vigier ftw. the marilyn is a great guitar, i havnt played an excalibur though

I have the exact same 2 guitars even same color as ABQShredHead lol... I also have a Yamaha APX 10 Electric Acoustic that is in a thread like this somewhere in this forum..

I see you're taking German. I took four years of it in high school and couldn't even speak a sentence when it was all over. Good times.

With that shape, doesn't the Laiho get annoying trying to find a comfortable position to play sitting down?

Doesn't the Laiho model get annoying knowing it's a Laiho model? :lol:Just kidding...I can't stand that guy.

Really? The RG520QS is an oiled finish. I love that guitar - I walked into Music Go 'Round one day and bought it within five minutes of seeing it.

I also have a black Aria Pro and a FrankenWashburn. I'll try to find pictures.

You know I actually have two of those 520QSOL's stored away. Used to be my main guitars before the big migration (to Vigier). I have multiple Ibanez guitars that cost as much as 5 times what I got those for, and they still played and sounded better than all of them. But I play Vigier now. I happy. Happy. :)

You must be my longlost brother or something :p I also have a RG520QS but I'm in the market to sell it, need to cutdown and besides it needs a good home to be used.

This is my very first electric. A $25 Kay department store guitar. It was bought at Montgomery Wards with a few knicks and dings and had a plastic "Clovis" emblem on the headstock but I now have found it was a Kay. Nothing special at all but special to me because I did so much work on it from the time I was 14 until 17. It was origionally Red, then I refinished it twice in natural, it was a maple body. But this time when I painted it white, I chisseled out for the gibson humbucker, that is a chrome gibson pup cover that I cut the center out of. I cut that lower cut away deeper for higher access, remember Im left handed so upside down as your looking at it is actually RIGHT side up  That floating wood bridge was something I picked up cheap but it was an improvement over the origional bridge. The neck was also wide and very fat so it was narrowed and had alot of meat removed from the back. I also added the strat body scalp or what ever its called on the back side for rib comfort. Just found this photo and had forgotten I even had it, so Im happy.

A single pup version of this otherwise exact guitar body & neck just sold for $190 on ebay, If I still had this it would be worth nothing due to the alterations, imagine that.
