Has anyone heard the new Sun Caged album. I think so far is it sounds super, it is at once very heavy and light as a feather, so to say. The mix is super and the vox melodies have a definite Jon Anderson/Yes tonality to them.

do you folks notice that at the 4 min. mark in Lords of Chaos, the melody has a Gates of Babylon sound. Not totally by any stretch but it reminded me of that song.

Hey there folks, can anyone recommend any prog bands. So far, I really enjoy Sym X, Dream Theater, I like Adagio somewhat and Sun Caged.

Which one do you prefer?

I really enjoy that song; I think the chord structure, rhythm and overall instrumentation rock and the song has a good groove. I noticed that the vocal style and rhyme scheme sound similar to Dio. What do you guys think?

Did anyone see the show at Blondies on 4/30. Symphony X was brilliant. This was my first time seeing them. However, it was hard for me to see what gear MJR uses. I understand he plays his Caparison signature; what does he use re: amp heads, cabs and fx; does anyone know?
