Just curious if we have a confirmed list yet. Somebody better take my money.

    Day 1 & 2 Signing Sessions

Is this even logistically possible? Given the new format this would be a VERY cool perk.

    Sell Us Your CDs!

No really. If you're moving to digital, streaming, whatever and are looking to get rid of your CDs, why not sell them to forum members? Post your lists, prices, terms, etc. All I ask is that you're upfront about condition and pressings (i.e. Russian bootlegs or discs with scratches).

    Voyager

So...best set in the 14 years I've been coming to PPUSA.

    RIP Empire

I saw the news yesterday that VA metal institution Empire (formerly known as Jaxx) is closing its doors on May 3 (the Haken/Iris Divine show, oddly enough). What a loss for the DC area metal scene. I do not look forward to having Baltimore and Richmond as my only metal show options. 90-100...

https://music.yahoo.com/news/metallica-enlist-fans-kill-em-ride-lightning-reissues-185000804-rolling-stone.html This is good news. Their first four need a good reissuing.

    Soundgarden Box Set

It appears we are finally going to see the long-rumored rarities box set from Soundgarden next month. 3-discs, full of b-sides, bonus tracks and other goodies. I hope it has everything. I wouldn't mind freeing up some shelf space by getting rid of the singles and EPs I've picked up for those tracks.

Ever since it was announced that metal icons Judas Priest would be unleashing their 17th studio album overall, 'Redeemer of Souls' (on July 8, 2014), their legion of fans have been wondering if the band would be launching a supporting tour. And the answer is a resounding YES - Priest will be...

    How about TNT?

Now that Tony Harnell is back in the band, they'd make a nice addition to a future PPUSA roster.

Floor Jansen's Open Letter to Fans

I read this at www.bravewords.com and thought it was worth sharing here: Nightwish vocalist Floor Jansen is currently on the road in South America with Revamp. She has issued an open letter to the fans: "Dear fans, After nightmares and many worried thoughts, I decided to write this...

    Ragnarokkr 2015 Wish List

It's never too early to start thinking about next year's fest. With the news of the original Exciter lineup reuniting, they are an obvious choice. I also think that Tony Martin's Headless Cross band would be an ideal headliner. It's been ages since he's played the US, and that crowd should be...

Arch Enemy: Black Earth Reissue (finally)

I wish they had done this when they reissued the other two early albums, but better late than never I guess. http://www.bravewords.com/news/216670

The Ragged Saints (for you Voodoo Circle fans)

The new album from The Ragged Saints crossed my inbox today and it was impressive enough that I thought I'd give them a plug here. It's Finnish melodic rock - something like Brother Firetribe if David Readman was their singer. I figure some of you here will dig it.

Javelin - for fans of Tad Morose and Brainstorm

Here's one that came my way via Pure Steel's Pure Underground imprint. Javelin has apparently been kicking around since 1982 but is only now releasing an album. It's surprisingly good heavy prog/power metal that reminds me a lot of Tad Morose.
