what's your favourite amp sim for clean tones?

Guitar rig is quite good for cleans with very good delays, reverbs, e.t.c

I agree..even though it's weak on heavier stuff, it's simply awesome for cleans.

I really like it too, but the pick's attack sounds a bit bad, but I really like it, and especially with the focus button on

+1 for LE456 for clean tones, never had a problem with pick attack though

I haven't used The Anvil for cleans only for lead, I have to try it some day

my issue with amp sims is usually with the area between clean and crunch.....podfarm had a few models which served me well but I find the plugin to unpredictable/buggy on my OS etc. amplitube in the highest quality settings really can do a pretty great job, especially with external impulses.

I'm still waiting for a really responsive dynamic sim of an AC30 or marshall plexi. amplitude is probably the best so far.

You can EQ that out. I use it for bass clank too.

I found Lextac is the best for this purpose,even better than it does "clean" clean.
