Pick your two slot # 3 bands for Prog Power next year

DragonForce and Persuader Okay, Persuader aren't that well known, I don't think, but they'd fit in perfectly in that number 3 slot. High energy, catchy, agressive power metal. They had an album out earlier this year, but it would be awesome to bring them to the US.

    Queensryche

At the show I was at, most of them. He was perfect on Empire, but he changed parts of Revolution Calling and Eyes of a Stranger :( Oh well, better lower than off key. Great show nonetheless, even though they needed a bigger venue. House of Blues was PACKED!

Angel Dust Reunion at PP VI?

I saw them a few years back opening for Nevermore, if I recall correctly. Oh well, it was about 4 years ago now...time flies. Anyway, they put on a great show. It'd be great to see htem again. I'd love to hear anything off of Bleed or EtD.

2 Types Of Persons At Prog Power...

I like a few songs, but for the most part, the music bores me. I'm more a fan of aggressive melodic metal (ie. Tad Morose, Brainstorm, Persuader, etc.). I did enjoy thier set, as they played the songs that I -did- like most. However, it didn't make me rush out and buy their CDs (though I did...

    Hello everyone!

No, but it's something I always wanted to do in college. I'm going to be an engineer, so I doubt I'll ever be able to do it after I finish school. So I'm enjoying it while it lasts. The show is on tonight/tomorrow morning from 12am to 2am central time. You can hear it from anywhere (using a...
