Angra to record a DVD next month.... (?)

Saw in a couple Brazilian news websites that Angra has a big show in Sao Paulo next month, and will be recording a live DVD in celebration of the band's 20 years. Show takes place August 25th.

Fabio Lione will be doing vocals. Guests seem to be Russell Allen (confirmed), Tarja Turunen and Uli Jon Roth.


Figured I'd share since it's kind of cool, but I'm surprised they're doing this with Lione if he's just a temporary singer.

That's REALLY odd. Glad I will get a chance to see this show, thanks to the DVD, but doing an anniversary show with a fill-in singer just seems wrong somehow.

+1. Saw Angra at a Brazillian Festival a couple of months ago. A total waste of my time. Uninspired and boring!!!
