Unfortunately Mike Baker, the original vocalist died in 2008. The new guy Brian Ashland reminds me a lot at times of Geoff Tate (prior to blowing out his voice).

Completely agree. Tate can be completely heard in his voice.

Did anyone else think that Night Flight Orchestra might be Saturday's oddball band after Soilwork was announced?

This. This is one of the main reasons we moved ProgPower up one week next year.

Music Midtown draws approx. 60K and is typically the last 2 weekends of September at Piedmont Park.

This year, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Avett Brothers, Ludacris, TI, Florence + the Machine performed.

We can now confirm 6 bands will be USA exclusives (no USA tour) for 2013.

Also, of those 6 bands, it will be their USA debut for 4 of them:
ReinXeed, Damnation Angels, Myrath, and Wolverine

Other bands could be added once decisions are made by their respective managements.

They sure have! I saw them in Cleveland at the BWBK show back in 2003 in support of Black Wings. Can't believe that was 10 years ago already...wow! Pretty amazing show that also included Candlemass, Trouble, Evergrey, Nevermore, Jag Panzer AND Falconer, just to name a few. Entombed was also scheduled to appear but due to medical issue, had to cancel.

Really looking forward to seeing WOLF again!

Yes my friend, The inaugural BWBK fest, that was a good time indeed! Wolf tore it up then and I'm sure will do the same at ProgPower!
