QUEENSRŸCHE: Dedicated to Chaos

Just call this album Q2K11.

Kelly Gray.

And Tate's ex-son-in-law guitarist that looks like he belongs in My Chemical Romance. No hope left for these guys.

How many casinos are they playing on their next tour?

I wonder if they will allow themselves to fall into the local summerfest/ribfest/county fair circuit, ala Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, etc, etc, or if they will call it quits before that happens.

Considering how many people seem to not give a damn, they certainly operate as a viable band in the music industry. They must sell more than we might think, given the number of releases, re-releases, live discs, DVDs, etc that RHINO keeps pumping out by them.

I suppose they probably tour the most out of all the currently active RHINO bands, now that Heaven and Hell are defunct.

Maybe they are just really good businessmen?

Just saying, regardless of their musical quality, they are doing something right to still be able to do what they want to do.

Yeah, they really are still successful financially as much as I hate to say it. I'm not saying they're selling out arenas or anything, but I know in Chicago they tend to book two nights in a row and every single time they sell out. I'm unsure as far as how well their discs do though.

Yes, Pellaz, Tate has fallen that far that listening to a five-year-old singing is more pleasing.:lol::lol:

I'm really really stoked to see Troll Dreamer and you have it out on this thread regarding QR. Does anyone bake cookies here? We should have a cookie party in the meantime.

Well, they supplied the coffin and nails, I just need to find my hammer....

Ugh... I'll let you borrow mine if you can't find yours. BTW, I'll also supply the shovel to dig the hole to bury it in as well. :ill:

I tried to be open minded here with just a glimmer of hope that these guys can just maybe, maybe, still have the capability of putting out another album at least as good as Empire was, (it would be to much to ask for another The Warning or Rage For Order, let alone another Operation Mindcrime - but then again, they tried to put another Operation Mindcrime, and we all know how that went)

But after hearing that, I am not the least bit impressed.

It's a rip from the VH1 show so the audio isn't that great, but I don't think that will make a difference to most...

I could only last 1:30. I'm amazed I lasted that long actually. It reminds me of something, but I can't place it. All I can say is that's some pretty bad pop rock. If only people would learn and NOT buy this album. At this point it's almost like they're just trying to fuck with their fans, like "let's see how bad we can be and see if they still buy our album?" Oy vey.

It reminds me of something off Q2K, but that could be because of Kelly Gray's involvement. The song has no dynamics and Tates melody lines are so boring. :puke:

If this song is any indication of the rest of the CD, Tate should just call it a day. He cannot songwrite to save his life, as this is soooo unimaginative that it is not funny. He needed DeGarmo, period.

Now, off to listen to "The Warning", when Queensryche was actually a great band.

Honestly, they should've changed the name of the band a long time ago I think is what it comes down to because it's pretty evident Tate doesn't want to return to form. I mean they tried (unsuccessfully) with OMII but it's so obvious he's not into metal nowadays. He should just go solo I think.

You make a very good point. But, I think he is into it for the money at this point, not the art. If he went solo, he'd really have to start all over again in another genre. I just don't see it.
