I've heard some Jaco stuff that makes me say, holy fuck, how did he do that... when I bought a cheap bass I tried to use him as my inspiration by buying a Jaco teeshirt, but I'm such a slacker now I have a dusty bass, no musical skills, two jaco tees and a copy of his biography.

Except I play a little more than you.

I used to have a bright future...and then I stopped having time...and now whenever I pick up my bass I'm so fucking rusty..and it sounds like shit...so I just go and masturbate instead.

I still have no Jaco tees though.
Maybe that's where you went wrong.

No 2 Nevermore fans will ever agree on exactly the same bands... Hell, I can't believe someone mentioned Soil! They fucking SUCK!!! nu-metal, mallcore crap of the lowest common denominator. They used to be good too, before they decided to ride the trendy wave. I remember seeing them YEARS ago in local clubs, & they had an interesting Metal sound, too bad they sold out. Then again, this same person likes newer Selloutica, so...
