Thank you and good-night

*I will not be addressing those who are disappointed in next year's roster. There will always be a vocal minority who are not satisified because I didn't book their favorite band, they don't know all the bands, their musical tastes are moving in a different direction that the fest, they wanted all new bands, they wanted all returning bands, there is not enough power, there is not enough prog, the oddball was not very unexpected and thus not an oddball , the list goes on and on. I could debate the merits of each band's invitation/slot based on prior successs, artistic merit, current buzz, and history. However, it would be like talking to the wall in some situations.

I just have to make one comment here. I am very disappointed to see one artist excluded from next year's roster, one who I'm sure we were all expecting to see perform at the landmark ProgPower USA X.

That artist is, of course: Stephen Lynch.

Thanks again, Glenn, for another amazing ProgPower! Next year's roster is amazing. Saturday is everything I hoped for and more! Orphaned Land, Brainstorm, Pagan's Mind! :headbang: I'm looking forward to almost every band on the roster for next year and those I'm not looking forward to yet, I'm excited to check them out and discover what you saw in each of them.

Now go and enjoy your hibernation! :Smokin: You more than deserve it!

(Although, I'll still be counting the days till you send us the awesome little e-mail with the date that enables us to book our hotels for next year. ;))

This was a strange one for me as well, and DEFINITELY not the best ever, but am totally looking forward to next year! Just my opinion...

Not much to add that hasn't already been stated but I had so much fun this year and it was a very memorable experience. You and the rest of the crew do one hell of a job and it is GREATLY appreciated! :headbang:

You've all earned a nice break in Margaritaville!

Hats off to you, my friend for another amazing fest. You and the entire cast and crew are heroes among men. Saturday may have been the greatest concert experience of my life. Looking forward to next year!

Oh, and a special thanks from my son, Justin, for inviting him and his best friend to join you in front of the barrier for Iced Earth. He hasn't stopped talking about it yet, and I doubt he will for quite some time...

I just want to say incredible job. This was my first Prog Power, and it far from dissapointed. The line-up was incredible. And screw the haters who complained about Riverside, I'm glad you got them, one of the few bands that has reached my top list in a short period of time. Lucky for me I was in the front during their set cause if not someone might have gotten pregnant.

Next years lineup look very promising, and I am going to have to do some homework on quite a few bands, I was hoping you could get some bigger names, but that's not a complaint, I'll still be there next year.

Cheers to a job well done.

He and his friend were the younger kids to stage right before the show, hanging close to the stage right? They looked really stoked to see IE :)

To echo the sentiment, thanks Glenn for beging crazy enough to do this year after year! I've been a supporter since day 1, so to finally get a chance to work with you and the crew was an amazing experience and gives me an even greater appreciation for all that you do to make sure everyone has a great experience year after year!

Now go enjoy some downtime!

Glenn,

I'm sorry I didn't tell you this in person (as I usually do each year): thank you for putting on another killer show. Seeing Andromeda play in this country for the first time was worth the price of the ticket alone, but then you went and threw in a bunch of other great bands as well. As for next year's lineup, I've always wanted to see Royal Hunt and Andre Matos, most of the returning bands are right up my alley, and Fates Warning is more than I could ever ask for in a headliner. I haven't missed a single ProgPower yet, and next year's lineup has me ready to carry on the tradition!

Stay metal. Never rust.

Can't even imagine the hassles and shit you go through Glen to make sure PPUSA happens every year but you delivered 'BIG TIME' yet again. I come about 3500 miles from Western Canada to your show and all performers this year were exceptional. I even got a perverse kick seeing Barlow and crew get "iced" at the end of their set with their rig going down. As they say, ...shit happens. The Tenth Anniversary show next year looks to be miraculous... already can hardly wait. To yourself and all your crew... take a well deserved bow... see you next year... bl

Glenn, I cannot begin to tell you how awsome you have been the past six years that I have been going. I never think that you can outdo yourself, and you do it every time. Keep up the good work and throwing on super killer shows.

You are one of a kind Glenn,
