Haven't counted, but a quite a few, why? I don't use it for hitting on girls.

The only time I used IRC was when I would game. I don't game anymore, so I don't see the point in using it.

Actually a fair amount of bands use it. Nothing terribly obscure, but you can still get the same basic information you would from myspace. There is unlimited capacity to have song samples and video links, which is good. Some bands have full songs. Seems pretty good for bands which are sort of big, that you haven't got around to yet. It also points out specifically which bands are playing near your network, which is very useful. This is all through the iLike application. It takes your list of favorite bands, and then gathers info on them for you. It's decently good.
