It is with an extremely heavy heart that we at jonoliva.net announce the passing of Dawn Oliva on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. Dawn was found in her home yesterday afternoon by family members.

As most of you know, since Criss' passing Dawn has had a difficult time with his loss. May Dawn now finally be at peace and with Criss by her side once again.

I'm a regular at Jon's message boards, heard about this a few days ago. It's so sad. Dawn was a gorgeous metal chick and probably could have had her choice in men...but she chose Criss, in life and in death.

Sad, but admirable at the same time.

Was she ill? Or was this one of those cases, where she died of what appears
to have been a broken heart? Criss' death was a sad event. And so is this.
