I was browsing through the music portion of MySpace earlier today and stumbled across the page for a Brazilian band called Ynis Vitrin. This is yet another example of a band I hadn't heard of but I checked out the songs they have attached to their page and liked them so I'm posting this just in case any of you might be interested in checking them out. They have prog and power elements that so many of us seem to enjoy.

Apparently in 2005 they put out a demo album called "A Dark Land" which was, so it seems, self-produced. A new album is ostensibly in the works for 2007 although the timing of its release is unknown to me. It also appears they are still unsigned to any label (at least according to their MySpace page).
