So instead of letting this die quietly, he posts the videos he got away with.

I see so many people at the venue with digital cameras that aren't sponsors. Regardless of the signs, if people aren't getting checked at the doors, they're simply just going to keep bringing their digital cameras in.

And that makes it right?

They were checked for as many hours as my budget could afford it. Wanna chip in the rest to cover?

Eh, there were a few people in the crowd with cameras who I know for certain had press passes. For the short photographers out there, getting great pictures from the photopit can be difficult.

I remember him from several ProgPowers. It sucks he ended up being such a dick. Doing something like this goes directly against the spirit of ProgPower. It is a relatively small festival with a loyal and tightly-woven following, which lacks all the ridiculous rules and restrictions of many other larger events. Is it really that hard to just do as you're asked? People like this guy jeopardize what makes PP special for no real discernible reason. What an ass.

I really do not understand why there is so much discussion on this topic. To me personally, it is a very simple subject. Glenn works hard to bring in top notch bands from around the world so that we the fans have the opportunity to see them in our country when otherwise it would be nearly impossible. All that Glenn asks is that everyone show respect for his wishes and for his hard work and do not record the shows. It is up to every attendee to know the rules of the promoter/venue. I don't think there are any valid excuses/reasons for his actions. Bottom line there is no recording!

What a jerk! I really miss being able to bring my digital camera to get photos of me and my friends and some decent shots of the bands. It's selfish jerks like this guy who thinks the rules don't apply to him that ruin it for the rest of us who know how to behave ourselves and respect Glenn and his hard work.

I'm all for the idea of wanted posters next year. It would certainly make winning those VIP badges a bit easier.

You are a royal hump. As much as I missed seeing Suspyre and ProgPower, I would not stoop as low as disrespecting a polite request from a promoter who has done more for the scene in five minutes than you have done in your whole life. You should have your credentials lifted from all venues.

Yep, I acted as go between between the person who caught him (make yourself known so people can thank you!) & Shane..missed Enchant's set for my trouble, but at least the douche got thrown out (after trying to claim that he hadn't done anything wrong *eyeroll*).
