CMR Top 100 Christian Metal Albums

As for Trouble - i think many see them as a "secular band".
With this logic, Stryper should not have been in that list.
If that is true about Trouble, i can't understand why it's happening. And even if that was the case, then that doesn't make them any less "christian".

Haven--Age Of Darkness (78 )
I forgot to mention that. Another killer Queensryche influenced power/epic album. Funny that the vast majority of "white/christian metal" bands has huge Queensryche influences. Has anyone heard "Your Dying Day" ? I always wanted to buy it, but i don't know how it is compared to "Age Of Darkness".

B.t.w. you must all check Place Of Skulls, especially their latest album "The Black Is Never Far".

I have these. (+Theocracy & Stryper of course!!)

If you really like Power Metal, check out Divinefire, they are excellent. Also Rob Rock & Impelliteri.

If you are into more DM/BM stuff, check out the others. Extol is awesome, so is Crimson Moonlight for BM. Virgin Black is really cool Operatic metal. Paramecium is kinda doomy. Saviour Machine is kind of like a play/soundtrack/opera.

Missing from this list, but totally awesome: Holy Blood - Waves Are Dancing. Folkish metal.

Kenneth, you must get you some Deliverance dude! Try to find Weapons of Our Warfare. IMO, it's a thrash metal classic! :headbang:

Virgin Black is really cool Operatic metal.

FYI to all, Virgin Black will be hitting North American in June and July (To/Die/For tour).

I've been meaning to check them out ever since all of this talk about them in this thread. Now that they are hitting my town on July 14, I better listen to their stuff soon to see if I need to attend this show. It sounds like Sombre Romantic is the album to get, correct?
