Powerglove - Metal Kombat for the Mortal Man

I just got the album in the mail today. I have been completely blown away by what the band has done with this release. I love "Total Pwnage" (which is now out of print) but MKftMM is of a completely different world. I have given it one spin so far and there isn't one bad track or dull moment on the entire album.

For those of you who don't know about Powerglove - they are a metal video game music cover band. But they're damned good. I don't think you can really call these covers because the songs are arranged and expanded and they just fucking rule.

I see this band playing at the PPUSA showcase in the next few years. Check them out (MP3s available on their sites):

these guys are pretty cool, they're friends of mine too....they do some badass arrangements, and i enjoy their stuff even though i'm not that big into video games.
