Vanden Plas photos from the Kick-off show are now up. Switching things over to Lightroom has helped me tremendously so I'm looking at a much quicker turnaround on photos compared to last year.

I was using the 24-105 f/4L IS USM for the whole fest.

Sweet lens. Next year, see about renting the 24-70 f/2.8. I think you'll like it.

I was actually hoping to rent either that lens or a 70-200 f/2.8 for this year, but being required to put down a deposit for the full price of the lens dissuaded me.

Dude, that's awful. I know the cam shop here requires me to pay if I lose/break the lens but I've never actually had to put down the money up front.

I had a 70-200 2.8 L with me for the Sanctuary set....was cool as hell to just sit in the back and get some great
shots
I used my 85 1.8 for the Evergrey set
and my 50 1.8 for Red circut as I got up close..
Ill get more up later
