Allright Glens had enough of a break, its time to get in his ear again.........:headbang:

Who would ya'll, my progpower family like to hear at the upcoming pre-show and next years Progpower.

Here is my want list.......

1) Appearance of Nothing- Glenn you planted the seed, now bring them here..I love this band, their CD have quickly become one of my favs.
2) Kingcrow-Signed to Intromental.......
3) Savatage-I can dream, or any formation...Chris Caffery solo stuff, JOP, etc...
4) 3-Enough buzz on the boards about these guys, rocked prognation tour a while back
5) Zephaniah.-These guys rocked the Pathfinder metalfest, take notice Glenn, you want energy, you got it.
6) Theocracy-A local Ga band yes, but International travelers. The rest of PP needs to hear these guys live
7) Void of Reason(VOR)-One of Ga best kept Secrets
8) Cloudscape-Awesome Prog band
9) Helloween-Headliners PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
10) Spock's Beard or NEal Morse- might be out of price range, but would be a great show.

Here are some of my ideas, what are yours

Voyager is the main band of this style that I want to see.
IQ (their recent album is heavy enough) brings great progressive music.
Protest the Hero is probably not realistic. I'm not sure where they'd fit in the bill, maybe right before the headliner? But not sure how affordable they are, and they tour a lot. But this would be a large audience and I think their set would end up being the highlight of the festival.
Biomechanical would be incredible as well. With good ProgPower sound, and hopefully a new album this year, I think that they'd put together an amazing set.
Angel Dust has Dirk coming back. Enough said. Really want to see these guys live, due to the reviews of their past performance.

Eclipse-Killer melodic band Glenn told us all about
Savatage-Never hurts to dream
BioMechannical-Would love to see these guys tear up the ATL
Headhunter-another speed/power metal band that would do well
Candlemass-Proggy Doom....HELL YESSSSSSSSSSS

WOOT

Angel Dust!!!!!
Masterplan
Status Minor
Southern Cross
Almah
Harmony
Darkwater
Suncaged
At Vance
And Floors new band
and alot more

Bear

It's about time Mystic Prophecy made it over to the US. They'd be excellent for prog power.

Wolverine is another band I've always wanted to see.

I'd like to see the return of Nightingale as well.

Also .. Eldritch.

Britt

Lord (Since "Dungeon" isn't possible)
Vanishing Point
Cornerstone
Royal Hunt (Again, since I missed them last year)
Anubis Gate
Astral Doors
Bloodbound
Jaded Heart
Masterplan
Serenity
Dragonland
Labyrinth
Magnitude 9 (Not sure they're active anymore though)
At Vance (even though the last two records weren't all that great IMO)

Here's my 12 nominees for PPUSA XII:

Falconer
Freedom Call
Anubis Gate
Tomorrow's Eve
Bloodbound
Revamp(Floor Jansen)
Operatika
Labyrinth
Iron Fire
Sinergy
Shadow Gallery
Serenity

Oceansize.

After seeing their live DVD, they've basically climbed the list of bands I NEED to see.

"There are no words" is right.

There are bands I would love to see, but suspect will never happen because of cost factors (Manowar, Voyager, Eyefear). Then of course there's Nevermore. Of the bands I think are realistic, I would like to see:

Aska
Crescent Shield
Dead Soul Tribe
Fair to Midland
Fairyland
Grand Magus
Madder Mortem
Malpractice
Manimal
Pathosray
Redemption
Stinking Lizaveta
Volbeat
Wolverine
Zero Hour

Zod

Dead Soul Tribe

I'd like to too, but it looks like they have broken up.

My list:

Falconer
Tuatha De Danann
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum (just to see the crowd reaction)
Sylvan (They've been getting heavier over time, and I think they could go over as well as Riverside.)
Skyclad
Wolverine

I'll probably think of more later...

MYRATH
ASKA
NIGHTWISH
VANGOUGH
MACHINE MEN
EDGEND
TRACEDAWN
MANIMAL
CLOUDSCAPE
OPETH
WHYZDON
APPEARANCE OF NOTHING

There are a few bands that have been mentioned in this thread (Wolverine, Falconer, Revamp, Sinergy) that I would love to see, but I really only have one name to contribute:

Morgana Lefay. Make it happen.

All thanks to Glenn:
Serenity
Mob Rules (because of the new cd)
Raintime
Volbeat

and one of my fav's:
Gotthard
