Only band I've walked out on was Royal Hunt and I don't really think it was their fault. Because I like their music, but the song selection for the set was less than ideal.

We used to drink a lot at the venue...but now we drink hard liqour before the show and carry that buzz while we spend beer money on merch. Seems to work a lot better overall...

Understood. Ideally, I prefer to maintain a pleasant, controlled buzz, as opposed to getting hammered and riding it out. But I understand where you're coming from.

Sort of like me. I like to drink, but I don't like to drink at concerts due to the inflation/I'd rather pay attention to everything. And like you said, for more $$ for the vendor room.

Interesting. I thought there were an incredible amount of people in the pit for these bands because an incredible amount of people sponsor them. I won't speak for anyone, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
