Only partially caught JOP, Amorphis, Helloween, Manticora & Andromeda. Skipped Iron Savior. Wasn't there Wednesday

For me....

  1. Rob Rock
  2. Saint Deamon
  3. Mustache - American Whiskey and Swedish Rock make a killer combo
  4. Helloween
  5. Iron Savior
  6. Riverside
  7. Manticora
  8. Circle II Circle
  9. Amorphis
  10. Andromeda
  11. Iced Earth
  12. Pathosray
  13. SUE
I missed some sets , JOP,Gamma Ray and Elven King do to the need for food and booze LOL

Purely rated on my enjoyment, not the band talent.

1. Jon Oliva's Pain (Unapologetic Savatage Fanatic)
2. Gamma Ray (Great show - professional band)
3. Saint Deamon (surprisingly tight - fun show)
4. Iced Earth (Sound issues knock it down a few pegs, but they're still IE)
5. Circle II Circle (loved the band, but too many new songs)
6. Amorphis (Not a huge fan, but a great high energy show)
7. Iron Savior (Always fun when General Zod is the front man)
8. Pathosray (Good opener)
9. Helloween (Deris was eh, but the setlist was wonderful)
10. Riverside (amazing talent - just didn't hit me)
11. Andromeda (Much better than I expected)
12. Manticora (Heavy, high energy)
13. Rob Rock (Amazing singer. Talented band. Redundant songs. Still liked them).
14. Elvenking (Good music. Not great vocals. Horrible piped choruses)
15. Mustasch (Caught only a few songs - the crowd was into it)
16. Spheric Universe Experience (Wasn't in the mood for this type of music at the time)
2,753. Midnight (I couldn't think of a lower number)

Steve in Philly

Riverside and Rob Rock were the only ones that I really liked which is odd since I was looking forward to a couple of other bands and didn't know much at all about Riverside or Rob Rock before hand.

I didn't get to see a whole lot of the bands but out of the ones I did see Mustasch gets my vote for the absolute favorite.

then JOP and the following 3 are at a draw for 3rd.

1. Andromeda (dream of the decade to see these guys live)

2. Riverside (mellow set but that's what these guys do best!)
3. JOP (another USF here... Unapologetic Savatage Fanatic)
4. Pathosray (my new discovery of the fest, wicked set!)

:)

Purely rated on my enjoyment, not the band talent.

1. Jon Oliva's Pain (Unapologetic Savatage Fanatic)

Ditto. Hearing When the Crowds are Gone was flipping phenomenal.

Then:
Riverside
St. Daemon
Circle II Circle
EbS

(though I did not pay as much attention as I should've Wed. night)

And pretty much then just "everyone else."

01. Amorphis (Knew they would high on my list, not this high)
02. Gamma Ray (Very much enjoyed them)
03. Helloween (Never saw them before. Was really looking forward to seeing them. They did not disappoint for me)
04. J.O.P. (Enjoyed them. would have liked to have heard more HOTMK and older)
05. Iron Savior (Surprised by how much I liked them)
06. Riverside (Shocked that they are this high on my list)
07. Iced Earth (Shocked that I have them this low)
08. Rob Rock (Had no interest in beforehand and really enjoyed the show)
09. Saint Deamon (Wish I was more familiar with their material beforehand)
10. Mustache (Only saw 2 songs. Wish I would have saw more now)
11. Circle II Circle (Enjoyed them more than I have in the past)
12. Elvenking (The piped in vocals kind of ruined their set for me)
13. Pathosray (Didn't see much of the set)
14. Manticora (Liked them last PP, they bored me this time)
15. Midnight

Did not see Andromeda or S.U.E.

1. Riverside
2. Mustasch (actually probably the best, but am afraid dtfanatic will kill me in my sleep if I pick them before Riverside :) )
3. Andromeda
4. Saint Deamon
5. S U E
6. Gamma Ray (Never thought I'd say that!!!)

The rest

P.S just want to clarify that dtfanatic is NOT sleeping next to me as I write this .

1. Spheric Universe Experience
2. Iron Savior
3. Iced Earth
4. Elvenking
5. Rob Rock
6. Andromeda
7. Riverside
8. Jon Oliva's Pain
9. Pathosray
10. Saint Deamon
11. Mustasch
12. Amorphis

1. JOP (Jon busting out laughing (and unable to stop laughing) during that first song or two was just a classic JOP). Quite the poet.

2. Helloween (Really liked their setlist and Deris's showmanship).

3. Iced Earth (Seen them have better nights. Loved seeing "Come What May Live" which was the highlight of their set for me. Having seen them play the same classics so many time live, I'm glad they played that song and a lot of new stuff, although I wish they would have done less from Framing Armageddon and more from Crucbile of Man - specifically, "Crucify the King").

4. Rob Rock (Classic melodic metal they way it should be).

1. Gamma Ray
2. Rob Rock
3. Amorphis
4. Iced Earth
5. Andromeda
6. Spheric Universe Experience
7. Manticora
8. Iron Savior
9. Saint Deamon
10. Elvenking
11. Circle II Circle
12. Eclipsed By Sanity
13. Mustasch

Didn't see the rest. Well, there was Midnight, but... :Smug:

Easily one of my favorite ProgPowers!
