Glad someone besides me finally mentioned Benedictum. I love Seasons of Tragedy more and more every listen I give it.
I've heard and enjoyed most of the others on your list. Makes me want to check out Pharaoh's latest since I haven't heard that one yet.

I guess you didn't see my post on page 2 of this thread. "Beast in the Field" is one of my favorite songs of the year. Benedictum remind me A LOT of Strange Highways era Dio. Powerful stuff!
Oh....and the new Whitesnake does indeed kick major buttocks!

I'm expecting the new Augury and Cynic albums to trump just about everything else coming out this year (and there have already been some outstanding releases this year).
the Cynic promo was kinda lame, but this year has average/good releases one after another but nothing amazing.

There are only two albums I've heard this year that I'd consider to be amazing: Opeth's Watershed and Humanoid's Remembering Universe. Ihsahn's new one is excellent, but I need to spin it a few more times to really get into it.
I also really enjoyed Decrepit Birth's new album, The Mars Volta's and Agalloch's new EP.
And I have extremely high expectations for the new Augury album:
